What's Combo PMU?

A permanent makeup technique that combines two styles—microblading (or nano hair strokes) and shading—to create natural-looking yet defined eyebrows.

Q:How many passes to achieve this look?
A: 2 full passes each eye, and a perfecting pass to solidify the look. After a while the skin starts to feel irritated and sensitive to touch so it's important to work strategically and efficiently.

Q: how long will this last?
A: it depends on your lifestyle and aftercare. Everyone's skin is different so we cant guarantee a duration on retention, however it's meant to be enjoyed between 1-3 yrs sometimes until a touch up is needed.

Q: Do I need a touch-up when healed?
A: if it's your first time getting this done, then yes! A perfecting session helps build density helps build better retention. It's important to set the expectation that Permanent makeup is meant to look natural so layering the ink helps build a more desirable look and doing it in phases. This way you can continue doing PMU while not jeopardizing the health of your skin.

🍒Exploring the world of color and applying it to the art of lip blush 🍒

Lip blush to build volume onto lip shape and blend lip color to a nude shade.

Goal 1 - Client wanted to enhance her shape specifically the top lip as she has lost color throughout time.

Goal 2 - match top and bottom lip color and customize a shade that goes with her day to day look. A more mauve nude lip shade with lip liners and lip stick being optional.

We've achieved to match her top and bottom lip while giving her the volume she needed on her top lip.

First session - 🍑 a peachy tone to bring warmth to her lips. As you can see the warmth blended with the coolest of her lips which healed and settled to achieve a more nude lip color.

Second session - 🌷 was to build into a deeper lip shade so she can just go about her day without applying anything but lip balm to protect the youth of her lips. Should heal into a brownish pink tone bringing a balance of muted cool-neutral tone back to her natural lips.

🍑1st session @biotekpermanentmakeup Bubble; a natural warm nude color. Peachy, slightly warm undertone

🌷2nd session @etalonmix_eng
mixed both Australia; rich wine color and Europe; rich dusty pink - brownish tone

Laser Removal Coverup; She had her old work removed via laser @illuminatebayarea and decided to give PMU brows another go. We did a combo brow on her making sure we stayed within her natural brow shape along with a cover up - while handled with care, a soft and light layer gives her more of a natural look still achieving fullness with her brows.

Choose an artist that works best for what you are looking to achieve. A consultation is helpful if you are unsure. We are not a one fit for all so thorough research is helpful.

Laser is a good idea if you are absolutely unhappy with old work or if the shape and color was poorly designed. Old Color coverup is very tricky, because we don't know what color line they used and how it was combined. If it's blue/gray with cool hues it's highly unlikely to be corrected or cancelled out. As artist we try to do our best in working around someones old work. But we aren't magicians and can't promise to correct it because some things aren't reversable.

Annual Brow Refresh with Hairstrokes and some light shading on the left side of her brows. Why one side only? Well, her right brows had more hair naturally and Microblading just wasn't enough to create density to match both brows. Also putting hairs too close together will cause it to bleed though ones healed which wouldn't look good at all.

Light shading will fill in the areas that lack hairs giving the fullness they deserve.

We work with what we can and we modify accordingly working around your brow shape and size.

My program is designed for beginners who are interested in learning the art of lip blushing. During our 3 day intensive course we cover basic knowledge on permanent makeup, lip anatomy, color concept, proper sterilization/sanitation, mapping, contraindications and so much more.

Day 2 covers color theory, and the initial process from start to finish. Student will then take a week of Handson practice to apply everything learned, and prepare for her model day.

I believe in practice makes improvement and allowing the student to spend time daily on her craft will help her improve her skills.

✨Fuller lips preferred
✨Pale lips, loosing shape and color preferred
✨Age 18-49 preferred
✨Does not get cold sores
✨Not on any blood thinner meds
✨Ok to not bring alcohol or caffeine 24hrs prior
✨Willing to take daily progress pics of your healing
